Photoshoot: Homecoming Dance

Homecoming Dance season is in full swing at John Muir High School (the school where I teach). I had the honor of photographing a few of my students before they went on their way to the glamourous event.

My top academy student, Kasandra Saavadra (In the black dress in photos below), has been a student of mine since her sophomore year (2020). Even though we started the school year at that time with "Distance Learning", she was one of the few that consistently did her work. Jocelin (in the gree dress), joined my class a year later and is also a top student in our arts academy.

But thank God, we came back to in-person learning and she continued her excellent work!

As an incentive to doing so well in my class, she earned a pre-hoco photoshoot with her date and friends (who are also amazing students of mine).

It was an honor to photograph this very important event of their high school careers.
