It was a beautiful warm Southern California Saturday night at Citrus College. The first game of the season was muggy and under cloudy skies but fans from both sides were excited to see their team in action.
The Owls started the game strong, taking a commanding 34-14 lead at halftime. However, College of the Canyons came storming back in the 3rd quarter, scoring two quick touchdowns. But despite the comeback, the Owls managed to hold on to their lead and secure a 34-28 victory.
The Owls next game will be on the road, next Saturday, Sept 9th vs Mt. San Jacinto @The Stadium at Menife 6:00 PM.
