"JUCO" Love

Jocelin, who just finished her two years at Citrus College playing women's basketball, reached out to me to get some sports portraits in her uniform. Throughout this past basketball season, I photographed some of her games at Citrus and a few on the road.

She wanted to show some "JUCO Love" (Junior College) to her school by taking portraits in her uniform. She is proud to have represented her school on the court. Now that Jocelin has graduated from Citrus College, her plan is to attend Azusa Pacific University in the fall and major in criminal justice. She's also looking forward to "growing and learning more about my Christian faith."

For the shoot, I used the gel lights that are built-in to our studio at John Muir High— We used some of the gel sticks as well for color accent. I had my students, Allison and Jacob assist me with some of the shots.

Congrats to Jocelin on finishing her two years at Citrus College and we can't wait to see what the future holds for her!
