Long Beach St. opens up the season with an exhibition game vs Montana St. at the Pyramid in Long Beach. In front of a electric home crowd, "the Beach" were led by two of their returners in Joel Murray and Aboubacar Traore, but could not hold off a late Montana St. scoring streak and eventually lose, 70-57.
