US Open of Surfing

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (U.S.A). AUG 1, 2022. World-class surfers from around the globe have gathered here at Surf City, USA for the annual US Open of Surfing.  

This is my 7th year of photographing this event and I still feel the same joy and excitement as I did the first year. Today is Day 3 and here’s some of the action from the ladies first round competition from this morning.
