"You Ain't Jack!"

With a little over a week left of my summer break, I'd thought I'd sneak-in a trip o photograph @JacksSurfboards Pro Men's & Women's @WSL_QS 1,000 being held at

@HBSurfCityUSA.

Usually at this time of year, I'm shooting the annual US OPEN of Surfing but that event was moved to next month.

For these photos, I rented the Sony A7 II (full frame) and used a Canon 100-400 4.5-5.6 zoom lens. In order for the Canon (EF Lens Mount) to fit the Sony A7 II, I used the Metabones Canon EF/EF-S Lens to Sony E Mount T Smart Adapter.

My entire camera unit worked beautiuflly —If only the Southern California sun was out, it would've been an absolutley perfect day of shooting.
